How to apply
You can apply for the first year of the Bachelor in Health and Medical Sciences through the Parcoursup platform. Places are limited for students who completed their French Baccalauréat (high school diploma) in a region outside of Strasbourg.
Important note: during the Bachelor in Health and Medical Sciences, you can only apply to competitive health programmes (medicine, midwifery, dentistry or pharmacy) a maximum of two times.
Progressing to specialised health programmes
You can only progress to specialised health programmes in medicine, midwifery, dentistry or pharmacy at the University of Strasbourg if you have completed the first year of the Bachelor in Health and Medical Sciences and met the specific admission requirements.
Have you completed a Healthcare Entry Degree or a Specific Healthcare Entry Pathway at another university?
If you have completed a Healthcare Entry Degree (Licence Accès Santé) or a Specific Healthcare Entry Pathway (Parcours d’Accès Spécifique Santé) at another university, please note that the University of Strasbourg does not offer direct entry into the second year (L2) of its programmes in medicine, midwifery, dentistry or pharmacy through these routes. For information about studying physiotherapy on the Institut de formation des masseurs-kinésithérapeutes d’Alsace website.
