What is a Flexible Study Scheme?
The Flexible Study Scheme (Régime spécial d'études – RSE) provides tailored adjustments to your learning and assessments. These arrangements are set out in a personalised learning agreement and take into account your individual circumstances as well as the specific requirements of your programme.
The University of Strasbourg's Board of Trustees approved the eligibility criteria for the Flexible Study Scheme in October 2022.

How to apply for a Flexible Study Scheme
You can apply for a Flexible Study Scheme when you first enrol at the university, or later in the academic year if your situation changes. Make sure to renew your application each year to continue benefiting from the scheme.
Students with a disability
If you have a disability, the Disability Support Department (Mission handicap) at the University Life Office (Service de la vie universitaire – SVU) can help adapt your studies to your needs. A dedicated team will assess your situation and provide tailored support.
Support can include human assistance, such as a study assistant or an exam secretary, technological support, including loan of adapted equipment, or exam accommodations, such as access to suitable exam rooms and extra time.
Go to the "Request disability support" web page
Student entrepreneurs
If you are self-employed or hold the National Student-Entrepreneur Status (Statut national étudiant-entrepreneur – SNEE), you can apply for the Flexible Study Scheme. To do so, submit your SNEE application and enrol in the University Diploma for Student Entrepreneurs (Diplôme universitaire Étudiant-entrepreneur – D2E).
You will receive personalised support, gain access to the coworking space and Pépite Etena FabLab, and join the Alsace student entrepreneur network.

Contact the Cultural Activities Office (Service universitaire de l'action culturelle – SUAC) to apply for the student-artist status. This status officially recognises your artistic activity and allows you to request adjustments from your programme.
