New Nobel Prize for Chemistry laureate at the University of Strasbourg: Jean-Pierre Sauvage

The 2016 Nobel Prize for Chemistry has been awarded this 5 October 2016 to Jean-Pierre Sauvage, emeritus professor of the University of Strasbourg and emeritus research director of the CNRS. Jean-Pierre Sauvage and his colleagues James Fraser Stoddart and Bernard Feringa are rewarded for their research notably the development of dynamic molecular systems: molecular machines or motors with controllable movements.

A French- German Trainee for Eucor – The European Campus
