The second edition of the University of Strasbourg’s Alumni Weekend will take place on the 13th, 14th and 15th of March, with a special focus on research. On Saturday, the university’s Open Day will be an opportunity for current and prospective students to connect with the university’s graduates and to take part in various events.
This event offers the chance to discuss professional and academic experiences with graduates. A meeting between alumni, university students and secondary school students on the theme of career prospects will take place on Saturday, 14 March from 15.30 to 16.30 at the Palais Universitaire.
The weekend's programme will include:
- Two meetings during which teachers-researchers at the university will successively present their research activities and interest for 500 seconds each
- Networking between alumni, students, former students associations and the university’s network managers
- A stammtisch ( conversation in Alsacian) with the university president Alain Beretz
- A debate on the transmission of democratic values in Strasbourg
- A round-table discussion on business start-ups in partnership with Strasbourg's Eurométropole
- Cultural visits and a gala evening at the Palais Universitaire
