This continuing education program, offered as a distance-learning, English-language degree, prepares students for professions in project management, for documentation and media, technical writing, localization engineering and localization. Registration is now open and classes will begin in January, 2017.
The Master in Technical Communication and Localization (TCLoc) trains students to become specialists with extensive knowledge of the tools and processes involved in writing and translating professional, and notably web, content. Individuals possessing these skills are indispensable to companies looking to expand their international reach.
The program is particularly geared towards candidates who have already acquired a certain level of professional experience in translation, writing or in a particular technical domain, as well as language program graduates wishing to expand their skill sets.
Conducted entirely in English and in a distance-learning format, the TCLoc Master’s possesses a distinctly professional aspect, having been co-created by members of the language and technical communication industries. As a result, the program leads not only to a master’s degree, but also to a professional European Technical Communicator Certification, awarded by tekom, Europe’s leading association for technical communication.
Registration is now open, classes begin January 23th, 2017.
